Charities and Civil Disputes

Over the years, we have acted for a number of Charities and individuals involved in disputes regarding the formation, membership, management and administration of Charities. Disputes of this nature are very expensive and we always encourage the parties to resolve any issue they have without litigation. The Courts require parties to have been engaged in mediation and any other form of dispute resolution procedure before commencing any legal action. Indeed before any Charity proceedings can be commenced, permission is required from the Charity Commission. In case the Commission refuses permission, it is still open to a party to apply to the Court for this. We can assist you in any dispute regarding charities.

We are also have substantial experience of dealing with civil disputes and are able to assist in contractual disputes, disputes between partners, companies, commercial disputes and as to ownership or interest in a property.
